Had one and sold it, back to the Sub for me.
The movement might be better in the Omega, but the oyster bracelet is miles better compared to the Omegas.

I have a white 300M on the rubber strap for the summer.

I have two subs and a DJ. I enjoy my moon watch and seamaster more. I also believe more bang for your buck as well. And my wife agrees too which isn’t a bad thing.

I also have one and it gets worn a lot. Very accurate, wears really nice on my 7" wrist and looks good. I swap straps on it quite a bit (from rubber to nylon, etc..). I agree the bracelet however is not a Rolex Oyster by any measure. I've worn it on the bracelet maybe 2 times in a year.

Also, I just got mine back from Swatch after it just quit running (one year old), so though it may be accurate it (at least in my case and a few others) doesn't seem to have the long term robustness of the Sub or GMT that I own.

The nice thing is they are available at most AD's to try on, and you can get them from various resellers and even some AD's at pretty significant discounts (I wouldn't buy that watch MSRP), and pre-owned at really good prices.

I have the blue version on rubber strap. The lume is incredible. Looks sexy but rugged. Built bulletproof. Super awesome!

In my opinion it is quite a cool watch.. I always saw it a bit as a no go but i must confess that i like it more and more.. What about you guys?
apart from the hour and minute hand(too large) and the helium escape valve, it's a very nice watch.

You cannot go wrong with any version of the current 300m. Post a pic when you get yours.

You expect too much.

I propose you add a picture of the watch you want us to comment on

I love what you did there, very nice!

Do you use the chronograph function to time how long it takes the tow truck to come get your range rover?

Fantastic watch.

God awful heavy, non tapered, cheesy as hell looking 1992 bracelet.

Get it on a strap and you have a great daily casual watch.

If 300m I would say strap only, save the $200-300 on the bracelet

OP, I'd go for 39.5 mm planet ocean and you get a tapered comfortable bracelet with better adjustment than submariner. Applied indices and logo etc. also the bezel is easy to operate compared to the scallops. I have the 43.5 and it's head and shoulders above 300m and submariner.

It’s a great watch. I happen to have the previous model “original bond watch” but I don’t mind adding this one to the collection. Ceramic stays crisp and clean. Others think it’s overdone, but I think it’s nice.

it's a great watch, I just got a grey dial, quality is top notch and I dig the design. lets see how long it will keep me interested.

Have a soft spot for these... a blue SMP300 was my first nice watch (ceramic bezel model before this with the eta-based co-axial) and still have it.

Just for me though the bracelets ruin omegas for me now, compared to an oyster they're bulky, inelegant and not as comfortable. Allegedly the newer omega steel bracelets are made in China too which certainly does nothing for the pride of ownership.

All that being said, the blue version of the current model would be at the top of my list if I were buying a first luxury watch and didn't to get involved in Rolex AD games, they still have an awful lot of appeal.

The only new one I like is the white face and black bezel. I just think this model is just missing something, it doesn't look as nice as a sub. I really think the waves on the dial look hokey, I mean if there were never wave dials prior we'd be asking wtf are these lines for? The white hides that a bit a looks better for it. Never a fan of those hands either...
