I felt my 15450 was right on the border of small and appropriate for my tastes. Ok for dressy occasions, maybe not so for an everyday. With a 6.5" wrist, I went through the same thoughts as you(as have so many others). The 15400/15500 felt too big and that feeling was unanimous for those present. I ended up giving the 450 to my wife and got a chrono instead. It splits the difference in sizes and due to it's sub-dials, it's a bit more rugged looking with an increased wrist presence. I'm happy. The wife is happier.

I have a 16cm (circa 6") wrist. I find the 15450 too small. I think my perception has been influenced by the fact that I now have a 41mm ROC. The ROC does seem a tad big, but I've now got used to it.

39mm would be the sweet spot

Careful with the 15400, OP. While the dial size looks great, the case is oversized. I tried it on my 6.5 inch wrist and with the lugs and bracelet flare, way too big but YMMV. Many have aptly described the RO cases as wearing 2mm larger than stated size. At that size, the classy RO loses points as it becomes less dressy and classic unless you're big-wristed. Sadly, while the 450's case is perfect for most, it's dial appears quite small and draws attention to itself. Unable to reconcile this is the main reason I added the new ROC to my collection.

That is clearly too big for you. Try on the 15450 before you say its dainty.. Bigger isn't always better.

For context I have a 6.75 inch wrist and the 15300 fits me perfectly. 15400 I've tried it on and it looks like a dinner plate.

This is the 37mm one.

My AD called to say a 15450 is available for pick up. Should I get it?? In a dilemma between 37mm vs 41mm

37 looks perfect. Dont forget the cases are huge and not included in dial size.

Remember, the 37 looks almost like a 41 Rolex Datejust in terms of size.

Is that the one in stock? I would not get one with a diamond encrusted bezel. If we're talking stainless steel standard model I'd say go for it

If you’re planning to buy this exact watch then ok but do so in the knowledge that it’s a ladies model.

I have the exact same wrist size and i went with a 15500 coz i felt the 15450 was not just small but something was off with the dimensions.

It's the 15450 Ruthenium dial. This diamond encrusted one is only for me to try on a 37mm.

Size looks pretty good to me. I guess the question is do you want the grey dial or not. For me - I went with white as grey seemed a little to monotone for me.

That being said there are plenty of members on the forum who love their grey dials

Grey dial was my first choice as i put my name on the interest list for 15500. But there is 1 grey dual for 15450 which the sales person has notified me about and I agreed to buy it later

Surprise surprise... My first choice dial colour is blue. But trying it on that day reaffirms my choice for size. It is perfect for my 6.5inch wrist.

I see. All of my friends who are interested in RO are only in for the blue, except me. Haha.

Was surprised to get the text since I was queueing for 15500.

Is this true? The measurements correlate to the dial diameter vs the case diameter? That would be unique to AP in that case, I think most watches are measured at the case?

I have not heard that, but I don’t exactly have reliable sources....would love to know. I’ve been itching for a 15450 with grey dial.....

I also think the grey dial makes the watch appear a little bigger than the other color variants since the dial color is close in tone to the steel of the case. Though for now this is a bit of a theory
