The sun amplifies the 3861 Speedy

Absolutely in love with my 3861 Speedy. Photos never seem to do it justice, but I have determined that photos taken under direct sunlight really amplify the sexual nature of the new darker, stepped dial.

Never heard the term "sexual nature" attached to a watch. If I did not already own a 145.022-78, I would be headed to my nearest Omega Boutique

Nice watch and agree with your comments!

"Sexual nature" LMAO! Fantastic photos as usual, and once again I love that flat link bracelet on the Speedy.

Great photos. I am trying to decide between hesalite and sapphire. Haven't see the sapphire version yet. Can I ask why you picked hesalite?

I'm not the OP, but I was debating obsessively which route I wanted to go, and arrived at sapphire (purely for robustness)... which the first batch of were all pre-sold and long gone. I asked the boutique to call me when they get either in. I got the call for the Hesalite two weeks later and though my intention was to merely check it out, it took me all of 2 seconds to decide for the Hesalite. I'm weak.

But, I happen to now think that was a happy occurrence, because I am now SO glad I decided to grab the Hesalite. The dial looks amazing through the plexi. Warm, rich and no milky ring. Plus I like the all brushed bracelet and actually prefer the printed logo vs the applied.

I did manage to scratch the Hesalite on DAY ONE, so there's that.

“Sexual nature”? What are you smoking? Only blokes who associate watches with sex live with their mums and spend all day with the curtains drawn playing fortnite and swiping right to no avail.
