This depends highly on what model Rolex decides to replace it with.
When the Daytona was replaced to the Ceramic bezel the steel bezel that was discounted isn’t as highly in demand compared to the Ceramic bezel. The Ceramic bezel replacement is much more in demand compared to the discontinued SS Bezel. |

I can confirm BLNRs are still shipping post-Basel because I got the call today from my local AD. Got it straight out of the shipping crate.
Put my name on their list early Feb, so it wasn't a bad wait at all. I am guessing some people on the list passed on it with the hope of waiting on the Pepsi SS. |

Likely replacements would be different colors (Pepsi, Coke) case, and movement modifications. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Took a couple weeks to source and get it shipped over but glad it's here.
Wedding will be this weekend and it was perfect timing. Bought a black Everest strap for it already and that will be what the watch rests on for a good amount after the wedding. |

Does anyone have advice for finding one of these at an AD? I know trusted sellers get them all the time, but the idea of paying over MSRP doesn't sit right with me for a mass produced watch, unless that watch has been discontinued. Plus, this will be my first Rolex and I'd like to it to be from an AD.
Over the last 4 months, I have called every AD within 3 hours of me, I also check whatever ADs happen to be near by when I travel for work. Unfortunately, the only other nice watch I've ever purchased was not from a Rolex AD, so I am starting from scratch. I've gone to about 6 ADs in person and supposedly have gotten on their lists, but none of them have been willing to take deposits or commit to a time frame. Frankly, I feel like I'm just being blown off. I truly don't mind waiting, but I have no idea whether I am actually on a "serious" list anywhere. I realize that with the current shortages this isn't exactly the best time to be looking. Advice from anyone who has been able to acquire one recently, especially in the Southeast US, would be much appreciated! |

Having no AD relationship, you just have to be there right place right time. You’re only other chance is to go in and chat with staff every once in a while instead of calling. Or you could always buy one of the slower movers like a DJ or explorer and you will have a better chance. The “list” if there is one will not matter if a VIP or someone with a longstanding relationship with the AD wants one

What about from a gray market dealer? They can be just as reliable as ads and have barely used or in some cases “unworn” stock. You may pay a slight premium but you’d get one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thank you for the response. I’d rather not go grey on my first one, especially considering there’s around a 1k premium right now. I have no problem being patient as long as I find one before the existing model is upgraded / discontinued. Was just looking for a little advice!

Picked up a little more blue, not the watch, this week in the Bahamas. Was in John Bull, the only Rolex AD in Nassau. They were pretty bare when it came to ss sports models. One Yacht Master II, and a couple of gold models. It’s amazing how you bare all these cases are.

Joined a couple weeks ago. Love the dial and while the PCL's are a scratch magnet I like the extra bling. Gives it an extra pop of flash.

Speaking calling the BLNR "Batman" which in my opinion is pure fun, this is my rendition of adding some spice to the mix.

New BLNR owner here! I absolutely love this watch!
Quick question... I feel like the watch is a bit smaller than I thought. I have only ever seen it in photos and when my AD called me that I was next in line I went and was stunned by how small it wore compared to my 41mm air-king... Have any of you all experienced this? |

I have a 42mm Exp II and the 40mm BLNR and yes their is a difference, but nothing to worry about IMHO. I have watches ranging from 36mm to 48mm and every time I saw sizes I notice it for less than 15 minutes generally.
