PAM 728 or PAM 736

So now I am debating between the blue dial Luminor Due PAM 728 and the green dial LE PAM 736.

If you were me, which would you choose? They are comparable in price to where the price is not a factor.

PAM 736:

PAM 728:

736 here. The date is a bummer but I can never live with 3atm water resistance even though it probably doesn't matter irl.

I'd have to go with the rad between these two - something about the radial finished dial and flat crystal seems wrong to me for a PAM.

Go with sings to you though! That's one of the cool things about PAMs, seems like everyone has a different fav model.

The lack of water resistance and a snap on case back seem to be the antithesis of what Panerai stands for. That being said, the 728 looks nice.

728.

If you have other Pam models, the concern about the 30meters is a non issue IMO.

Somehow I have not warmed up with a 1940 Rad case plus the green dial.

They are completely different size watches so comparison is not fair imo

But if I have to choose then the 736 only because the 728 is 42mm and its too small for me

Went with the 736 myself, don't regret it for a second :)

But then again, I have a thing for green dials :)

728 gets my vote!

The brushed Titanium with the blue sandwich dial really pops for me.
I couldn’t care less about the WR - I have other watches that can do that.

I’m convinced so am glad that Panerai decided to issue this model.

I have blue dial and green dial PAMs and love both. Whilst I’m not a fan of Rads I would still go 736 out of these two. I love the blue dials and I’m a total Luminor 1950 fan but I like a Panerai to look like the Almighty intended them to look and that’s big, bold and in-yer-face.

728 my vote! Although green looks cool, blue is more versatile.

What else is in your collection?

I would have a tough time deciding between these two. If funds permit, I'd get one, then down the road get the other. When I started looking at Panerai's I definitely wanted a Luminor, but the more I look at them I think I like the Radiomir's a hair better. Kind of like "needing" a sporty and dressy Rolex.

If pressed betwen thses two I'd lean ever so slightly toward the 728 as I prefer a no date Panerai. I love the addition of the 3 in place of the date. Good luck with your choice! The hunt is half the fun.

Cheers
