Many, many thanks for the warm welcome and all of your congratulations, this seems like a rather wonderful place to be!!
I have worn the watch continually now since buying it and am absolutely loving it have to say.
Now I've started it's gonna be difficult to keep my "wanted" list from growing!!

No discount for me but hoping that the AD may look more kindly upon me now with regards my wait for a Hulk and a Batman!!
The lume is truly amazing and a feature that drew me to the piece. I love walking indoors after time in the sun to just see them glow!

You're right - a light grey dial would be stunning. I'm sure Rolex are listening...

Sticker is officially off, and you're right, the pop from that radially brushed bezel just makes the whole watch sing. A beautiful feature.

My wrist is also 6.5 inches!! I did try it on several times to reassure myself it wasn't too big. I think I made the right decision....!!

I have been wanting a white dialled watch for sometime, so when I saw this in the metal for the first time, seeing that beautiful crisp white dial with the contrasting black indices and hands and the pop of colour from the orange, everything just worked for me.

Welcome friend! It's great to see you here on TRF...and with a tremendous start to your Rolex collection. The Polar Exp II is getting a lot of wrist time here and held up extremely well for six months in Afghanistan!

How many of the same watches are we up to now?

Congratulations. You will love that dial. It is one of the most readable dials out there. I love my 42 mm polar explorer.
