Like: Pics Or It Didn’t Happen So, instead of stories, a quick wristshot of this 116500 - with a small slip of paper in the shot, upon which you’ve written your TRF ID and today’s date. Such a simple step to quiet down doubters. Just sharing in the spirit of communication Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

It seems that the wait time is different from region to region, some countries have long waits and others have relative short wait times. |

B. claim to see Rolex inventory no one here has seen at any AD anywhere: Daytona, Hulk(s) plural, D Blue and "recently" C. claim to buy a white daytona that was in stock and available D. start a different thread about flipping a white dial daytona E. Now want info on acquiring a black dial daytona Generally these claims by new members are met with a healthy dose of skepticism, nothing personal

You don’t. But you also didn’t need to post twice defending your story either. I simply offered an easy way to silence doubters - because your words seemed to be falling short. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Hi guys,
just wondering how much do people have to spend at an AD to get the privilege of buying a ceramic Daytona. I bought 3 PM watch at my AD within a 12 month period and spent approximately 80k, when I asked about the ceramic Daytona was told it is impossible to get. They said I am getting the next blue sky dweller but it’s been 4-5 months and haven’t heard anything. I got around 20% discount on the PM pieces. Is it time to start looking for a new AD. Lol |

Just go back to dealer you got white dial from.
They also have unobtanium in stock as well. Can you get me some? |

Similar situation to the OP. I walked into an AD a month ago hoping to find a BLNR. Walked out with a white ceramic Daytona. Absolutely love it.
Did not buy the black one at the time and have been regretting it ever since. Popped into a few ADs in the U.S., Switzerland and the Netherlands since hoping I would find one. Quoted 6 - 10 year waiting lists across the board. Consistently asked how I found my white one. In general, was told I was extremely lucky and the reps seemed happy for me. The one exception was Chronotime in Geneva where the rep seemed a bit disappointed - as if the AD had broken ranks or something. Would love to find a black one still. But will probably not actively look and hope it falls in my lap when I’m not looking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

its ridiculous and its true. I get the same thing at random AD's with my Pateks. Like they want to say "really, an AD sold that.... to you...why?"

Lol. When picking up my 5711 I even had the AD staff telling me I must be very special. This was when the manager was out the back getting the bracelet resized. It was odd but funny

I got that from my Rolex AD manager who have never seen a 5711R and claimed it was his grail, but now I reckon the SS will get them more excited now.

Not surprised. When I read his original post it reminded me a lot of what I've heard from an AD down here in LA. A few months I stopped by my AD I am waiting on the white Daytona with and got the typical, repeated speech about how they have clients who have spent "over a hundred grand" that are still waiting for the watch.

Try calling every UK AD and ask for a SS Daytona :)
You’ll get a lovely warm reception :) |

No wait at all, just checked with a few greys. You know the deal, go get one and enjoy your time :)

As Spock once said, After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true.
