Want is a Good AD discount ??
What do you think is a good discount on a SS sports ( nautilus/ aquanaut ) Patek?
Myself and 2 friends are considering leveraging a discount with (3) cash deals. I’ve heard of 20% , but could 25% to 30% be had ? Thanks |

Discounts on SS Patek??? Surely you jest!
FYI, most Nautilus and Aquanaut models have lengthy, multiyear waitlists. You're not going to find them in stock at an AD, and if you did, week you should go buy a lottery ticket. I'd say 0% discount is about fair to expect. |

In all seriousness , getting three from one store is unlikely due to allocation and rarity . Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk

You Patek guys are funny. So it's impossible to get a discount on an Aquanaut? You cannot get a Nautilus unless you wait a few years? OP asks a legitimate question and everyone starts bashing. All this hype, allocation, perceived rarity is getting out of hand. Here are some quick answers.

Paying for 3 PP's in cash you are more likely to get robbed on the way to the AD then you will have a chance of a cash discount. Some small AD's maybe as the CC transaction fee is around 3% but big AD's don't care and many don't want to deal with that much cash anyway and probably prefer a CC. |

Without being condescending it's not a legitimate question as the "search" fu action will show which I guess is a minimum anyone will do before embarking on close to $100k in purchases. |

Oh yes.. the "cash deal" will change everything.
The Patek retailer will be delighted to see someone walk in 60k-100k with small damp wadded up bills in a Louie monogram duffle bag one likely borrowed from a washed up rap star turned "producer". I think you maybe mistake the Patek retail experience for that of say...Rolex. |

Perhaps a discount is available on a 5164A or the 5726A (or 1A). Just call a few ADs and ask. Many ADs are weary of flippers and will not field random phone calls though.

I found deal for 94% off a SS Steel Nautilus. Buy it cash I think they will drop it down to 2%.

Unlikely any discount on SS Nautilus and Aquanaut models. On PM, complications and grand complications, I'd think 15 - 20% is reasonable...but again, it all depends on price point, the piece involved, your relationship with the AD, etc.

im curious whats the deal on application pieces? I have no idea. Is it model dependent or generally full retail? I would assume full retail.

First, since you're in NJ you need to find the most advantageous pricing / currency / msrp. The USA is not the best.
So... Seek out best country/currency/VAT discount BEFORE you even bother with a dealer (AD or Grey). Since cost for product is about 61% of msrp.... so this is why you also want to bring to your benefit currency and msrp mis-pricing due to currency fluctuation (and VAT back from Europe, etc). European dealer give you, say, 20% off. Then you get VAT back (~17%) and thus a nice discount to that of near USA dealer cost :)
