Scammer using trusted sellers names

Guys,
I received an email from a PERSON claiming to be one of the major trusted dealers on this site. Actual Email addy was off, but looked similar to the Real dealer.
Guy claimed to be the actual dealer, and stated he was selling watches for his brother in LAW. I immediately knew it wasn't him. Just not trusted sellers style. There was a cell phone number in email. I txted the faker back and forth trying to get some info for the dealer. Guy went cold when I asked for a video of watches and him.

BE Carefull ALL...

Guys you need to be vigilant when making any purchase over the internet.

Not just verification but verification from a 100% confirmed valid source, and that the source is the real source.

Check and double check.

Thanks for this OP.

When you say you received an email, was it a PM from this site?

Email directly to my inbox. I knew it wasn’t from the dealer after reading it.
The Email said he was selling watches for his brother in law. Dead give away. The trusted dealer in question would never send me such a thing. Ever....
