I do like the watches but have never owned one. I might fix that though.

Same. I inquired as to time frame to see when this will appear in a watch. When i hear back i will update the thread.

Wow. Always like Oris, but it seems they are taking a stab at the middle tier offerings. Good for them. Maybe I’ll pick one up.

Totally admit I was skeptical at first, and then read the article. Sounds impressive for a midline model. 10 year warrant too. Finishing work seems a bit raw in the video tho. Look fwd to seeing cased models.

Oris stepping it's game up here

I like the 111 and 112 manual wind movements and have owned several Oris pieces. They are a robustly built and I have never had an issue with them.

But to me when they try to go into the $6000 on up range it is a hard sell for them. At least until they fix the gray market issue. The 111 is $6000 new and can easily be bought from a gray, new, for half that.

Here is the current one of theirs that is in my collection. The 1917. Should have been a manual wind but they fubar’d it and put in an auto.
