Diver opinions

Good day All,
So, I picked up a 15400 blue dial mid June and, regardless of price, I love it.
My only gripe is not wearing it all the time - pool/beach/summer activities. It has me thinking I need* to pick up a diver. I’ve been looking at the white dial with blue accents.
I reached out to the NYC boutique and so far they’re helpful. Sounds like they can get me one in 30-90 days max (maybe less than 30).
We haven’t discussed price, but I’m pretty sure they’ll want full msrp.
I’ve found a couple on the used market for around the $18k price point.
What do you all think of the diver in general? Should I go for it? Worth going through the boutique?
Thanks and have a great weekend!

Love my diver and thinking of adding a second one to spice up the rotation.

The Diver is the ultimate sports watch - and a perfect summer watch. (Yes, I know it's September). I have an all white one that I wear year round. One of my faves for sure.

I love mine.

Quite honestly would not swap it for any other watch right now.

Wear it everyday as my one and only.

Been all over with me, seen tons of activity and never given me issues.

Love my carbon diver as a summer watch. Vacations, playing with the kids, etc. Carbon case is so light, ceramic bezel is very durable and love the yellow.

Great shots, starting to like the AP diver the more I see photos of it.

Love the diver as well. My first was a 15400 and then 15703 and then 15707ce. Get it you will not regret it. And yes for that price go with the boutique. Not enough savings to buy used. Do it!

Edit: forged carbon kicks ass too!

I have the blue/white Diver you are after and LOVE it. Honestly think it looks better in person than photos. If you are patient I have seen them on the forum for 16/17k, there isn't a tremendous amount of demand for them. Pick one up while you can, you won't regret it, rumor has it they might be going away. Most rugged AP I have owned and one of my favorites, love it comes with a white and blue rubber strap. Remember the AP ADs won't ship out of state to save on sales tax anymore, so you will be at $22k plus NYC sales tax, you are better off going through the grey market unless you are looking to build a relationship with the AD (albeit many VVIPs at the NYC boutique).

EXACT same dilemma. I recently purchased the 15500 Silver/white and had to option of the diver too. I went with the 15500 because it’s my first AP, and well because of that bracelet! However I am always worried about dinging the bracelet and already have some hairline scratches that I will post about. Hopefully someone can help me fix it myself. I digress.

Have you considered other divers? I think that is currently my biggest hesitation. Sub, sea, Panerai..?

White on white is a real winner, but all the divers are cool.

Don’t try to fix scratches yourself on an AP bracelet, I’ve seen people try and it’s really easy to screw it up. Plus, impossible to wear without scratching so any repairs will be short lived. Try to just accept scratches and enjoy the watch.

I love my Diver, it’s a fun watch. Looks really good on different colour straps, so pay full MRSP but ask for a couple of straps to be thrown in.

Love it even more now that I got to see it outside of these damn zoom meetings.
Compliments the 15400 as well as I expected. One is a tank and one is fancy.
Will probably switch to the blue rubber it came with once I get the guts to change it
Thanks again for all the help
