5164a Straps

I'm now shopping for straps for my 5164a (Aquanaut Travel Time) and I wanted to ask those who have more knowledge of this:

What straps are out there for the 5164a? Obviously there is the default black one. I also assume the brown one from 5164r will fit nicely. But what about the other colors, like green? Is anyone wearing a 5164a with a green strap just living with the fact that the strap is not a snug fit? (since it's designed for a thinner watch with different lug sizes)

Lastly, what about third party options? I know 5167a has RubberB, but I'm not seeing anything for 5164a.

So for all of you 5164a owners out there -- what are you doing for straps, besides the black?

i’d check https://www.abpconcept.paris/collect...leather-straps

i have seen quite a bit of few different ones for different watches. i think the company is in Paris. i am gonna be getting a 5167a next summer. as i have been passing the time, i’ve researched changing the color of the strap. i believe they have 5164a on there but not sure.

Dark blue 5650 strap fits. It’s subtle.

I believe the 5167 straps all fit even if not perfectly. John Mayer famously wears his 5164 Tiffany on the green khaki strap.

Super subtle! I have one and even in bright sunslight side by side to the black it’s only just noticeable it’s blue.

Have been looking at the 5164 straps from Tempomat: https://tempomaterials.com/collectio...patek-philippe

Has anyone got experience with these?

It was too subtle for me, really should have been a shade or two lighter.

Hmm, those look nice. A little like the RubberB design. The green strap picture clearly shows the size doesn't quite line up with the 5164a.

So for all of you 5164a owners out there -- what are you doing for straps, besides the black?

Your options are the following:
OEM and made for the 5164 case size:
Black
Brown
Blue

Oem and made for 5167 case:
Black
Brown
Green

All of the above will fit. All other aquanaut straps won't (unless you cut away the metal prongs)

Besides this you have the aftermarket straps, but I wont wear my 64 on those.

Here's a comparison I wrote some time ago about the differences between 64 and 67 type straps:

Good luck

The 5164A on the brown strap, on the black and blue OEM straps.

If you don't have good light, you can't really tell the difference between them. They're all very subtle.

I've got mine on the rubberB green and it's pretty good. Obviously it's for 5167a but the fit and quality is amazing. Feels OEM.

Icon14 Strap for 5164

I was also searching for a green strap for my travel time and found tempomat straps. They do make some great quality straps like OEM and the price is really nice. Leave you a shot and their link, hope this helps you 👍🏼

They never made an OEM blue strap for a 64 or 67... Only for the white gold "jumbo"

They did via the 5650g which has the exact same proportions as the 5164 and, as a result, does not fit on the 5167.

I believe the 5650 fits both the 64 and 67. I have seen it on the 67R once and it looked really great.

Not really, maybe you can force it but it generally does not fit the 67.
