Sky Dweller - blue or white?

I’m going to pick one up in the near future... for those of you with experience with both colors, which do you prefer?

I know the blue is at a premium and more popular but that white looks super classy online as well... not sure about in person though.

Hoping to try them both on in person but might not have the chance.

Thanks!

You're right that blue is the one that's in higher demand, but I think the white is classier and more striking.

However, I have to add that I've seen neither other than in pictures. I've only ever seen the TT white version.

I'm personally a fan of blue and I think it's way better.

But if you don't want to own what is in vogue then you go for the white. But they're both classy.

Blue has been b popular the past 5yr to a decade with watch releases generally. I'd stick with white myself if I was holding on to it. Blue harder to match.

I’ve seen and tried all colors, blue, black, and white. All of them look really nice but the blue dial is the clear cut winner for me.

I had the choice of blue and white dial for my first Rolex. I went with the white one because it's pretty and striking.

I don't really find blue and black to be really different unless you are up close. I do agree though that blue is nice but only in certain angles.

I like all SkyD's but in SS I would have picked the white or black.

Sky Dweller - blue or white?

I have a TT White and a SS Blue.

The white dial is mesmerisingly beautiful but SS is more versatile.

If I could only ever get 1 I would get the blue SS.

I would take any one of them, blue black or white. They are all stunning. They are all hard to get, blue being the hardest. I got lucky from a fellow member who hooked me up with a white one at his AD. I jumped on it. I couldn’t be happier.

Have seen the SS in white in person. The dial looks stunning but I haven’t seen the blue to compare objectively. Too bad I don’t have the wrist to accommodate a Sky dweller

I currently own the SS White Dial Sky-Dweller and think it is the one in the SS line-up. I have multiple black and blue dial watches and thought the white dial does it all. I am of the school of thought that white is not a color, so it is neutral when pairing with other items. I have owned several YG Sky-Dwellers and a WG bracelet version several years ago. All great watches but the SS is my current preference.

Easy choice, get the one YOU prefer.

It's akin to asking about the preferred paint color of your car.

I’ve had both the white and now the blue dial. Both are stunning and it’s a great watch but the blue is in my opinion by far the best.

Ive had the white and truly enjoyed the watch . Blue is also stunning . I think you will be happy with the white considering you’re purchasing from a grey not AD you’ll save lots of $$
Good luck !!

Depends on what you prefer, and possibly what might already be in your collection.

I would have gone SS white if I didn't already have the Explorer Polar 42mm. At the time, I didn't have a black dial Rolex in my collection so I went SS black. Because I was buying used, blue was out of the question for me. The grey SS white and black premium is steep enough for me. The blue surcharge is not acceptable. Obviously, we each draw the line in a different place. If you really want blue, don't settle. You'll just end up buying twice.

I’ve had all three, white is my favorite.

I dress formally every day and it is my favorite watch to wear on a daily basis.

My personal opinion on blue is this; it’s more playful for want of a better word. I am in meeting daily basis and feel black or white is a lot more of a formal/serious look. There are some watches I love such as the 116618LB but haven’t brought myself round to purchasing for this reason, I think blue looks great on others but for me personally and my character, it doesn’t suit me.

Side note the sky dweller is my favorite Rolex!

Blue is mesmerizing. White is crisp. Go with the one you are most drawn to.

It's your watch, pick the one that you like the most and available to you.

We all know that the blue one is the highest premium, so it must be the most popular for general public.
