Incoming...first JLC

I’ve had my eye on the Geographic for a while but finally pulled the trigger.

Congrats its a beauty. I'm thinking of getting this one but since I'm looking for a calendar piece I bought the new mater calendar with the jumping date really cool plus the newly redesigned moonphase is a step up.

Congrats! JLC is an amazing Manufacturer and so undervalued. Plus, in a day where it seems everyone wanting a great watch goes for Rolex....it’s refreshing to see a nice JLC!

Congrats and thanks for posting. I've been eyeing on this model since it was announced earlier in the year. This is the first time I've seen one that's not from the press release . Looks fantastic and can't wait to check it out in person.

Congrats. I love JLC. I just came to learn that they have zero dealers in south Florida. Palm beach to Miami...nothin'. That is unusual for any luxury brand. Closest dealer is in Orlando. I'd like to fill a tray with all of the Ultra Thin watches and then make a decision and walk out with one. It's going to have to wait until I am traveling again.

Congratulations. How are you liking the piece so far?

I too pulled the trigger on this piece as a Christmas gift to myself, after having had my eye on it for +- 6 months.
I did order a dark blue alligator strap which I think will suit it perfectly as I'm not a fan of the original strap. Really looking forward to receiving that!

How much did you pay for the alligator matte blue strap? Cheers

When I was pushing the dealer for an additional discount, they were not able to offer me the price I was asking for. They then added in the strap at no additional cost as an additional bonus. I agreed because it was my intention to purchase an alligator strap anyway, so it worked out for me.

We were not able to order an original Jaeger-LeCoultre strap (because they are not on the market yet), so we're having one being made. The dealer did mention that the manufacturer they work with is the same manufacturer who makes the OEM straps for JLC, so the only difference between my strap and an original one would be the stamp on the inside. Unfortunately, I did forget the name of the manufacturer (it was not Camille Fournet or Atelier du Bracelet Parisien, whom I thought were the OEM manufacturers).

I haven't received the strap yet so I'm still looking forward to that. I'll make sure to post some pictures here on the forum when it's here.

I do hope this helps and feel free to message me if you want more specifics.
