First Rolex Incoming
Hey all,

I got the call for my first Rolex, the Submariner date 126610LN. I purchased a Tudor BB58 (which I love) from my AD December 2018. I joined the waitlist for the Daytona in June 2019 (still waiting) and then joined for the new submariner on 8/31/20 due to the slimmed lugs and new movement. Got the call 10/15 and picked it up last week. I know I wasn’t the first name on “the list” but my AD stated they love surprising people with their first Rolex and enjoy sharing the love. Needless to say, they’ve earned my business for life. This was a huge surprise to me as I was expecting to wait well into 2021. Anyways, here it is. I feel like I got extremely lucky. Really enjoying it and I think it complements the BB58 well.

I sure hope my AD likes to surprise his 1st time Rolex buyers. I too am awaiting the new Sub Date (my first Rolex) and drive a 4Runner. Congrats. Looking good ChatDawg.

Congrats! Yes, there are noticeable improvements that prompted you to consider this model. No shame in acknowledging that.

I agree. I know the consensus is that it wasn’t an upgrade but the new movement really pushed me to get it. The slimmed lugs are just a bonus.
