22222222222222ÖÖ.

So this is quite a special incoming for me. When it was announced I was so blown away by this piece. It was unlike any watch I had been attracted to before, but for some reason I knew I had to have it.

So today I am very happy to have this on my wrist. It has a nice amount of weight, the brushed finish is very elegant and for a 37mm it wears surprisingly large.

Itís my first thin watch, and I could get used to that.

Itís just classy. And I could use a bit of that in my life as it doesnít come naturally for me. So jeans and sneakers tomorrow and a Vacheron Constantin Historique 222 on my wrist

Good question, it has a champagne like look about it, sometimes it looks like antique brass, like tap wear almost

But it looks great, very different to Rolex yellow gold. The brushed finish changes everything.

Congratulations. We are going into the boutique to submit the application tomorrow. Kinda surprise that there is an application process for this piece now. But whatever it takes to get one :-)

Beautiful. Just watched a video on YT about this model

Hows the bracelet feel on the wrist? And the heft?

Any other PM pieces you can compare to.

Yes it is beautiful. Iíve seen a heap of videos too and it pictures very much like it looks in real life.

I have other pm pieces but all Rolex, it wears very different to these. Itís closest to a PM Daytona but still different in that the slim case canít really be compared. To be honest, I need to wear it a few more days to get a better feel for it, but the weight is nice. You can feel that it is PM but it doesnít drag down onto your wrist as it is thin and really wraps around your wrist. Itís very comfortable.

I guess it means that you go in and ask?
When it was released I asked the boutique to think of me when when the time comes. An application of sorts I guess?

I also had my name down within the first couple of hours it was released. At that time I was told by my SA that I am in a very good position to obtain one. And just a few weeks ago, he said I need to submit a short bio for an application so I wrote a 50 words bio of my hobby and what not. He said that any 222 for the next year needs the President's approval but my application should be good. It is supposed to be a new policy pushed down from the top. Since he already said that I am in good shape, I did not bother to pursue more on the how/why.

Me neither until I was asked, I thought only Patek does it for application pieces.

I didn't have to do an application
maybe some boutiques handle things differently

And rightly so. Youíve supported the brand like very few others have.

Probably that's why he got one right-a-way and I needed an essay.

It's not technically purely yellow gold....its a mix of yellow and rose...in the middle kind of a thing and brushed to give that nice matte finish

It's awesome

Congratulations -- looks magnificent. I don't normally gravitate toward yellow gold watches, but that VC does it right
