As a fan of both, I can say I now gravitate to the AP slightly more simply because Dufour has one!

I also like AP more because they (the brand) have been far nicer to me than any of the Patek AD's

More legitimate ammo for AP fans for sure.

I will give proper credit, nothing sits on my wrist better than the jumbo.

most significant difference for me is water resistance between jumbo and 5711/5811

Very nice! I am sure he can have any watch he wants. But this is such a nice gift. Mr. Dufour carries such a strong legacy.

It is great to see his daughter and the future generation carrying that legacy. looking forward to seeing the one they leave.
