I'm a pretty avid traveler and always prefer nonstop but when I do have to layover I prefer the shorter to get to my destination quicker, if thats not possible then I enjoy whatever lounge will let me in haha

To my outbound destination, 1 hour, because I'd rather get there quicker. Coming home, I don't mind a longer layover so I can enjoy a few drinks.

Provided direct flights are not available... 1 hour works for me.

Depends on where and why I’m flying. Flew 200,000 miles in 2022. When it’s for business…I stress about the way home. I try to get home ASAP. On the way out for business, I can always change a meeting, etc…

But on the way home, I make a point of trying to pick up our daughter from school. It’s great, I can take the first flight out from the East Coast, and be home before noon, on the West Coast.

For pleasure…we get there when we get there.

Had a recent trip to Amsterdam and home flight was delayed an hour and ate up my layover in Germany. I landed there figuring I missed my flight home. Got there to find out the flight was delayed 2 hours due to the ground crew forgetting to clean and load the plane. Everyone was pissed, except for one!

Back in my drinking days layovers never bothered me as i would drink the time away. Now that I’m sober I’d rather spend as little time in airports as possible.
