Finally back in the Sub Club
It's been 8 years since I wore a Submariner on my wrist. My 16610 was my daily wear watch for almost 10 years. We parted ways about 8 years ago (the Financial Crisis), and over the past few years, I have been trying just about every other watch to take its place.
I thought all the new variety in the watch world - the new colors, movements, shapes, and sizes - were what I wanted. In the end, they didn't do it for me. I took that 16610 around the world a couple of times, and it never failed me. This week I had the chance to pick up a Submariner and "go back home" horologically speaking, and this is exactly the way I remember it. It really feels like home, and suddenly I have no desire to look for another watch. Thanks Rolex and TRF.

Congratulations, a great watch.
I have had my name down for about 18 months with no sign of any prospect yet. Happened to try one on at the weekend and loved it, great proportions. I have a 114060 which I love, but I was really impressed with the 124060.
