My partner, Nancy, and I just watched S1 of Emily in Paris. It’s a light hearted account of a young American woman assigned to a newly acquired PR agency in Paris. It’s got a little bit of a Sex in the City vibe. Ten episodes of <30 minutes each. Good couple’s entertainment.

Wife and I absolutely loved "Longmire" and we don't agree on much. Good Aussie actor Robert Taylor is excellent as are all the supports.
We are also really enjoying "Blacklist" - James Spader is a cracker in the lead role.
The early series of "Homeland" were riveting and even the later ones without Damien Lewis are watchable.
I am enjoying "Shooter" and "Punisher" which have plenty of action and are better written/scripted and put together than I was expecting.
I have been wading my way through "Designated Survivor" which I find cheesy and jingoistic. The supporting characters make it watchable for me.

Blacklist is good fun - Spader always good to watch imo, and plays a kind of 'Hannibal Lecter Lite' in this role

As I previous mentioned, Hannibal is outstandingly good as long as you don't mind the gore. Mads Mikkelsen is brilliant in this - almost worth watching for his ever-changing suits alone

Bit of trivia - Longmire star Robert Taylor played one one of the Agents in the original Matrix movie along with fellow Aussie Paul Goddard, and Hugo Weaving.

I think I'm in the minority because though I enjoyed Queen's Gambit, I really didn't think there was all that much substance to it, and definitely not one of Netflix's best shows, rather mediocre ...My opinion of course. I do however crave to play more chess though.

Finally watched Roma yesterday on Netflix. I know I am late on this, and it won an Oscar, but I still didn’t expect it to be as great as it is.

About a well-off family and focused on their servant, it’s set in Mexico City during 1970 and 1971, with lots of wild stuff going on. It’s heartbreaking, funny, tense, as stylish as a Tarkovsky or Bergman film with similar pacing, and the script is tight. Easily the best new movie I’ve seen in a couple of years.

I also enjoyed the two Denis Villeneuve movies I’ve seen on Netflix, Arrival and Sicario. Brilliant.

Roma was incredible!! Excellent cinematography.
