Hey Zazzles, good question. I got this around 9/2020 so the Geneva boutique had all of them ready and for sale. I saw every color I wanted on the stop. I will put for you my initial experience which you may find interesting. I got playful laughs from my watch buddies on my Code purchase but I just really and still love it. While it is still not everyone’s cup of tea, it is nice to see it growing on folks. Boutiques seem to be very limited on these now. Hope you enjoy the article: Did it! The Kevlar is really great and a really different look. I like both and wish they could be easily interchangeable. Let us know if you take the plunge. Good luck, bud. |

Thanks! I'm going to put in request for one tomorrow.
WhT kind of availability have you other guys seen in the last few weeks? I feel like the situation is changing dramatically day by day lately. |

When I bought my purple CODE, the staff told me they received only two purple models in 2021.

I agree it feels like code either lost some steam or AP shifting focus on RO 50th. Might be good for the code line as products are limited to create that sense of scarcity.

Love the thread and thank you folks for sharing these terrific photos.
The CODE: I only started following AP in earnest last fall, and I instantly LOVED the code the moment I saw it. As a newbie, I have been mystified by the sturm und drang about the CODE. AP innovates, and is not afraid to be playful (eg. Black Panther). That seems to grate for many, but for me, I love a holy trinity brand that isn’t afraid to take risks and have some fun. Because of my tiny wrists, there is basically one single AP reference that works for me (15450), so I’m super envious of you folks with enjoying your Codes. One of the best references from a holy trinity brand today, IMHO. |

Supposedly they started with 2000 CODE/year and then doubled to 4000. With about 80 boutiques and 24 time-only and chrono models, two per model sounds about right (certainly not 10 or 20).

I think this thread convinced me to add the Code to my collection. Hopefully soon!

I love the purple dial for its unique and bold character.
Seriously though, I wonder how everyone would react if AP released a Code with a khaki green color like they did with select RO references this year. I bet there would be a frenzy of new interest, perhaps. |

Tried on this one at the boutique. Considering the perpetual calendar in white gold.
However having doubts abou the size, which is maybe a bit too large. |

Wanted to sell my CODE a few weeks ago seeing I had the call from VC and PP. I do regret that I didn't take the Overseas 4500v 000R. Unfortunately it was not the right time to buy another watch...
Glad that I kept my CODE, suits my personality quite well. Seems the CODE is popular in Japan, so to make it feel more at home: |

This looks to fit just right, but perhaps at the upper limits of what you prefer. What I find most intriguing about the white gold is that it almost seems to glow, like a white hot star. It may just be my eyes, but their RO white gold pieces don’t come across the same way. Note: i’m just referring to how these look in pictures, since I never compared in person.

Show Your AP CODE 11.59 …
I just got to try on this AP Code (QP in white gold). It’s an amazing watch. The midcase, the skeletonized lugs, and the crystal all are so interesting and add a ton of dimension to the watch. You get such a different feel depending on how you look at the watch. And of course, the aventurine dial is beautiful.

The QP is amongst their most impressive Codes. And my understanding is that it is challenging to get this allocation. Regardless, this looks great on you!

The QP code is an amazing piece. I think it's the sleeper of this collection, especially with people still thinking this is the piece that you can walk into the store and buy to then get a RO
