Bremont BC-F1 Review

So this is my latest impulse buy the Bremont BC-F1. All of my watches I currently own have a black or gray face so I was looking for something different. I own a Bremont ALT1-Z and I am very happy with it so I thought I would look a some of the other models in the line.

I was looking for something affordable in the 3k range. The MSRP on the BC-F1 is 3700 I called Feldmar without hesitation the sales person offered it at 3100 I said why not an even 3k and the deal was done.

The BC-F1 caught my eye with its smooth silver finish on the face.

The day-date function was also something different for me, but it was the construction of the face that won me over. The site stated that the watch faces inspiration came from the instruments of a WWII era Spitfire. I can certainly see this in the face and the screws are a nice touch.

The leather strap is thick and built to last, it's comfortable to wear and the deployment clasp keeps the watch firmly in place.

The watch comes with a clear sapphire crystal case back, gimmicky, maybe, but I like it.

I was expecting a big box to arrive so when a slim box arrived I was a bit confused. Where is my big watch box I am accustomed to seeing?

When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to see a handsome high quality leather pilots map/document pouch.

The watch was safely secured inside the zippered pocket. If desired this pouch can be used for any number of things making it far more useful then my other watch boxes stored in the closet. I use it to store my spare links and tools.

The case comes with a handy high quality spring bar tool something I was lacking so it was much appreciated and sorely needed.

Also included is the COSC certificate.

I am not a technical guy so I do not know much about the movement all I can say is it has kept perfect time since I bought it.

Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous watch, and I am jealous of that nice leather case, what a great surprise.
