Picked up another

I have been looking for the last couple of months for a new piece. Wanted to get something that is simple and classic. Looked at a number of vintage pieces but prices are silly and i never felt comfortable really knowing what i was buying. I had looked at the DJ 41 at a AD while i was traveling and really liked the way it looked and felt on the wrist. Love the refinements, especially the way the black dial catches the light. Thanks Patrick!

This is the black dial. At some angles is catches the light in a way that makes the dial vary a bit. This photo emphasizes that character. It is black most of the time. Not sure what Rolex calls their dials that have that iridescent like look.
Most kf the time the dials is as dark as my Submariner.

Yeah, it seems as if the newer black dials have a lot of character to them...at least from the photos. I'm seeing the same in the new steel Sky as well.

Congrats on a beauty!

Thats what i was looking for. Simple design that works well in any situation. My collection has always been biased towards sport models. Sort of nice to branch out some.
