What's OEM? Original?
What does OEM means for Panerai straps?
Wanted to get a 24mm accordion rubber strap and I keep seeing OEM ones online With Pieces made in swiss or Italy stamp on it. Not cheap. Sent from my HUAWEI NXT-L29 using Tapatalk |

OEM stands for "original equipment manufacturer." Ergo, seeing that in a sales listing is indicating that the item was made by (in this case) Panerai and not a third party strap.

In layman’s explanation OEM is any product made by the company itself (i.e.,Panerai)
Also applicable to other company, for example BMW, Mercedes who are selling OEM parts for their cars. Best regards, |
