You should definitely try it on to see how it feels.
I have around 6.75 inch wrist, relatively flat.
I'm used to wearing 47mm Panerai's so it feels okay to me.
The lugs does hang a bit on the side though..

Thanks for the added pictures. Yours is kind of flat so it does help. Mine, however, is kind of round. Yeah..I will try one on before buying. I love the blue dial.

Great piece I had my eye on the black dial until I saw the silver in person that soon changed my opinion, the silver is the pick of the bunch.
