New 177!

I just wanted to say thanks for all of the recommendations and insight you provided while I was trying to decide which titanium Panerai to get. I am very happy with it! It is an H serial number fresh off a service from an authorized dealer. Here is my 177!

Thanks! I am actually getting a green canvas Panerai strap and titanium thumbnail style buckle as part of the deal I made, so when I get that I’ll do a wrist shot! I was actually surprised when I found a canvas strap on their website since I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Panerai on canvas before, though I am certainly no expert.

Ti on Panerai OEM Green canvas

My old 240 & 177 to wet your appetite. Green canvas looks great with Ti. One of my fave combos, especially when 'in lume'

thanks guys, I also love all things titanium.

@nigelUK - thanks for the shots! the picture they show on the website doesn't show much, so it is good to see the strap/watch combo. They both look so good on the green canvas!

I like that model! Had a 176 but gave it back due to overpolishing.

One silly question. Is canvas water friendly?

No, its leather lined. I wouldn't personally go swimming with it on. I'd put on the rubber for water sports.

I received/installed the Panerai canvas strap/buckle. I think I like the traditional thumbnail style buckle more then the trapezoidal buckle. Strap was nice and flexible right out of the packaging. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Fine looking piece. Looks awesome on the green canvas too. A nice Teju lizard strap in walnut or racing tan would look amazing on there

I have seen your posts about your lizard straps and they look great! However, I think my personal preferences lie in the more subdued look of rubber or canvas. I certainly do admire your pieces (I really like the LE green dial, can't remember the number) and associated straps!
