Where I come from (I'm Colombian) most children get a gold necklace at birth. It's some sort of tradition that dictates we need to somehow be decorated! We sort of grow up with it and it sticks with us.

Even in the wealthiest, non tacky, non NJ , Non Guido environment you'll find most men with some kind of PM necklace tucked under their shirt.

I agree. Just the other a day someone asked me why I wear a chain and an expensive Rolex. They said I call too much attention to myself. I'm like well I'm not trying to do that as I only take off my chain when I shower. I don't care what anyone thinks of me in regards to what I wear. Also why should I live in fear of getting jacked. I'm smart enough to know my surroundings. Been living in Miami all my life so I know the good and bad of this city.

I really like this thread. I believe if you like to wear Rolexes, there is a good chance you like wearing jewelry. After all, modern Rolexes are more jewelry than tools. I will upload some awesome necklaces when I get home.

Sometimes my inner Guido has to come out! I love Gold! One day when the kids are older I will have a 116618 bluesy to go with my chain and bracelet.

I picked this up whilst travelling New Zealand many years ago. It's means a lot to me as a reminder of a fantastic time in my life. It hardly gets worn now but certainly goes well with my LVc.

When I was younger I used to wear chains and rings and earrings, one old g/f was a jeweller, but now all I think is, I bet that will be itchy.
