Seen this before?

Hello. I am being offered a ladies Rolex model 69173. Please see attached picture and let me know if this long 1 looks right. Do not know if this is common or a huge stop sign.
Thank you all in advance!
Dave

Also a quick little update..Just was sent a picture of the serial as well. Much like the model number appears the serial first 4 characters being S505 appear "older" than the last 3 of the serial. Much like the last 3 on the model number appear to me. Let me know your thoughts and again, Thank You

Can the seller send you some more pics with better resolution? From what I am viewing from those blurred pics the serial does not seem genuine. Rolex serial numbers are precise and the engraving is usually evenly spaced.

I cannot believe that Rolex would turn out such a hot <vertical> mess of inscriptions.
Additionally the spacing's of all of the text appears off.
As in all over the place.
Run, Dave.
Just Run.

Stay safe, everyone.

I have actually seen some pretty shoddy work in regards to the engraving of the serial and model number on older (80s) models... Rolex did not always have the same level of QC they do now... this engraving looks normal for an 80s ladies Datejust... no one would reengrave a model number anyway... post pics of the entire watch to be sure...

My father's date just from 1985 has the serial number way worse aligned than that one.
But it's real.

I have pictures of the watch the seller sent me. Along with a pic of the serial number. I will post soon as the iPhone pics I have are too large to upload. Thanks for the replies thus far

Sorry I don’t agree for several reasons. But certainly because the engraving is inauthentic with that long “1”. The variation in shadows and other artifacts suggest other problems.

I believe it may have been photoshopped.

I have a 36mm Oyster Perpetual Date built March 1987, purchased new by me at a Rolex AD in December, 1987.
The engravings on the case sides are perfect. Absolutely perfect, just as on all my other Rolex <that have case-side engraving.>

That's the one input I have from my end, hence my first post above at #5.
