Christmas 2011 in San Juan - PR

We two were in San Juan for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. Room in Hampton inn suites in Isla verde was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

Breakfast was on the house and was sumptuous! Did plenty of shopping and some sight seeing! Tried some native, Chinese and Japanese cuisine - all within walking distance from the hotel! A visit to Condado now filled with tourists was a great experience. During our last visit we had been to Old San Juan, so we gave it a miss this time.

Visited a famous Rolex dealer in PR - Bared - at Las Plaza Americas and their sales people were amazingly friendly. As my wife was exhausted after a day long shopping in same mall, one of the salesmen offered a welcome bottle of chilled water. Thank you all at Bared!

Spanish Musicians and a playful ventriloquist added charm to the holiday spirit.

My TT midsize blue dial Yachtmaster (M series) gave company!

Excellent! I was debating whether to bring my GMT IIc or 1680 sub or wear a swatch which is less valuable. There nothing worse than feeling outwatched while having an arsenal back home....
You convinced me. The wife and I are bringing the rolexes... I grew up there so I experienced how bad crime is, but really? I am staying at the Marriott condado so how bad could it be? My GMT IIc and I have gone several times around the world no problem :)
