Chrono24 Price Increase

Did anyone else just hear about this? Apparently Chrono24 is doubling their rates for dealers. I wonder what effect this will have on the already rising prices? Interesting times...

I see that the Rolex prices have gone up. I'm sorry but some of the prices are starting to get ridiculous.

While people keep paying, they’ll keep rising. The ridiculous prices are a response to our silly consumer behaviour.

Their fees for regular Joes are a bit steep already. But they do cast a wide net, that's for sure.

I'm working on it - https://orolo.co

It's a search engine for watches from the most trusted sellers. This way we can avoid the poor quality sellers that are out there.

I just launched it yesterday, so if you're a seller and would like to be listed, just PM me (it's free to be added - no fees period).

Oh nice! Because yesterday after falling asleep i was thinking how challenging and cool it would be to create website similar to chrono24 but more friendly for regal joes and also dealers. But you already did it! Good luck mate!

The Nautilus market seems to be topping out with many unsold now on the big UK grey, Watchfinder, so maybe the end of the peak is in sight...

I wouldn’t sell mine at that price.

Couldn't sleep last night, so I went ahead and added Delray to Orolo. With the craziness around Chrono24, hopefully this helps Federico.

Exactly. Those are the prices the watches are not selling at.

I hate the game. Dealers put up a price but are of course willing to go lower — they just don’t say how low; it’s up to you to guess.

How about a site where all prices are firm? None of the fairy-tale prices like $13,699 for a LV. That’s a waste of my time or anyone who is educated in the market.
