AP custom straps direct from AP

This is a newer thing they have been doing for about a year or so. I've mentioned it a few times and gotten numerous messages about it. They will do leather, gator, and canvas options with regular thread stitching or stitching using an actual precious metal thread. Here are some pics of my black gator strap with rose gold thread stitching. The cost was a little over $1k if I remember correctly. We also had 2 others made for a 37mm ladies offshore that were around $600-900 each based on the options chosen. I don't have pics of those but I can take some if requested. The precious metal thread really pops in the correct lighting and you can tell it isn't a textile-based thread. One of the ladies offshore straps we got has platinum stitching on a purple gator strap which contrasts really well.

If you had a strap made by AP please post it so we all can see and use it as a resource for the future

That looks great on your watch. Who are they using to do this? Usually you can go directly to their supplier and save quite a bit. Like Camille Fournet that, if I recall correctly, does AP.

I would probably look into a few guys doing very high quality work too like TerryCrafted or Aaron Bespoke.

No idea. I ordered and dealt directly with AP Clearwater for all details and transactions

Thanks for the pics! I got quoted a similar figure a few years ago when I first made enquiries, def going to pursue this either thru AP or a strapmaker.

Thanks, JT. On average, how long did it take them to complete and deliver the straps to you?

Code straps may not be available. I don't have one so I never inquired about those

Do you mind sharing some pictures? Interested in seeing some of the other material options, I have the alligator strap that came standard on the ceramic offshore, but alcantara sounds intriguing! Does it hold up well to sweat/moisture?

Does anyone know whether you can call to order standard straps from the AP Clearwater service center?
I’m not sure if I read that previously here on the forum, or if I misunderstood the extent of their services.
Thanks.

Wow that is really cool!!! I may have to reach out to them real soon, but in the meantime I have a pretty nice custom leather strap which is waterproof on my 15300 from a company called solitaire official
