Crown 180 to 0 degrees at service

Friends,

Driving to Koln in a few weeks to bring my 16610 to the spa. I was wondering if RSC is able to change the crown position.

Currently the crown closes exactly at 180 degrees causing the crown to stand up side down. I don't care that much but it's a bit stupid. Discussions already going around why Rolex cannot fix this in their production proces... It's still a detail that I think should be cared for.

This would probably mean they need to change the crown and tube? Will they do it if you ask for it?

Another thing: I want to have my bezel+insert replaced as it has a small ding and I want a glossy insert again.

Possible??? Thanks

Its doubtful and if it did line up upright thats if its supposed to line up with anything.Over a period of time with wear on the rubber gasket the crown head it would no longer line up with anyway. Its a winding crown thats meant to be turned and no one would notice the crown on the wrist anyway unless you were very OCD.The crown sometimes line up some dont, and thats the way its has been over the past 50 years.

Yes, they will change the crown and tube if you ask, although there is no guarantee where the crown will sit with a different combination.

They will also change the bezel and the insert if you ask.

Of course, you would have to pay for these additional parts.
