Credit due for service-shout out to Vanessa

Just wanted to add to what others have said about having Vanessa CW21 service your watch. After 20 + years since it's last sevice, the integrity of my watch had deteriorated to the point that the crystal fogged up when I was outside in the rain. Contacted Vanessa, watch sent, watch serviced and returned. Looks great, running well. Vanessa was a joy to deal with in all aspects. Very professional and competent.

And an additional word to all thinking their unworn vintage Rolex will be fine sitting in a drawer for years: the parts that keep a watch pressure proof fail naturally over time. Glad I didn't expose my watch to salt water.

My sub is currently with her. Im guessing I should have it back in the next week or so. She has sent pictures throughout the process and has kept me in the know. Great customer service. I am counting the days until it is back on my wrist.

MY 2005/6 D series SD40 just came back from service with her. It came back operating at plus 2 seconds over 36 hours which is astoundingly good compared to what it went in at and compares favorably with a brand new one. Checked on National Bureau of Standards atomic clock. All other issues were taken care of. I have already sent her my wifes Rolex and have two others I plan to have her take care of.

Over the years I have sent watches to RWUSA and they have done good work but are very slow. Never have they returned as close to perfect time as she attained. I have also used a couple of different former Rolex repair persons and had OK service. The service she does is 2nd to none and probably a notch above RWUSA.

For those who care about how long this wonderful service takes...I mailed off my SD40 on August 27 and I signed for it's return on September 19th, this week. It doesn't get much better than that if all your local watch guy has to do is install a battery. Considering what goes into a complete service that is astoundingly good.

Speaking from experience Vanessa's the best. She cares about what she does and your watch when she's servicing it
