A001 and H003 Pre-ordering now. Who's getting?
I checked with my boutique and both of these are available for deposit pre-orders. Deliveries are expected in November for A001 and December for the H003. I'm really keen on both but don't quite have the funds to get either at the moment.
Curious if anyone has pre-ordered, and if they got any discount or plan to pay full MSRP and tax. I'd like to see photos and first impressions as well as buying experience and delivery date. |

I put a deposit down on the A001, but with some videos I have seen, the dial doesn't look like something that belongs on an $11k watch. I'll see it in person and go from there.

The dial looks pretty basic like a Seadweller
I have a nagging feeling that this should be a $5,000 watch though. I understand shooting for the stars but it’s twice as much as an Omega Seamaster 300. Would like to see Seiko either put more R&D in the bracelets or drop prices a bit. I don’t like the discount game. |

the springdrive diver is awesome... but waiting for a more epic dial, and I'm not overly keen on the power reserve position...
I'm happy to wait for the perfect GS diver

Ideally I'd like to see a 42-43mm 12mm GMT with olive dial and gold hands and indices with new 9RA5 with the multi link bracelet not the oyster style for about $5000.

I was interested upon seeing the watches but that has faded a bit.

GS: Let's make a thinner version of our Spring Drive!
Me: Yes please. Also GS: Let's also put it in an even-thicker and larger dive watch!! Me: |

In some strange way, I'm really into this super diver. It's just so over the top without being kinda goofy like the DSSD. But, I know I'd get tired of it being so big.
I also don't really care for dive watches. I prefer non-rotating clean bezels but I can tolerate a GMT. Looking forward to 2021 GS lineup. I'm expecting thinner watches, new movements in everything, better bracelets and lots of colors! I wonder if the models enthusiasts prefer like the Snowflake, pink dial, and colorful hands are driving their design or they will stick with more conservative color schemes. |

Me too. Heard the new 9SA5 and 9RA5 movements are thinner and pack more power reserve. All I care about is thinner cases with better bracelets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Would love to see more jubilee style bracelets from GS where they focus on comfort. I don’t really need quadruple super dive clasps. Just well finished, ultra comfortable, with an easy 1-2mm extension option for when my wrists swell or shrink like Vacheron. Don’t need a full 10mm of options

I like how the slga001 is supposed to showcase the new “slim” movement.... they’ve been talking about coming out with smaller divers, I hope this isn’t what they meant. Loved the styling of the SBGH255, but it’s a monstrosity despite what Tim Mosso says.

There is something ironic about putting their new slim SpringDrive movement in a 16mm thick saturation professional diver

My friend. This is exactly what I’m going to ask Santa for Christmas this year, albeit in the 40.5 case diameter. Make it even $6k for crying out loud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, it seems strange to put a 5mm thick 9RA5 movement into a huge 46.9mm x 16mm Titanium case?
Defies logic.

I was also thinking of asking for tax to be discounted on my first purchase when the time comes. Looking forward to reviews of both these watches on the wrist. Especially comfort and feel.
Saturation divers gonna dive I guess. Gotta be chonk to get respekt. |
