Where you asking for the piece or saw it sitting in the case? Given it’s still sealed I assume you asked for it and it was in the back?

Did you buy?

I dropped in and we were just bs’ing about all of the new stuff. He said he had one if I was interested. He said they had two others in so far. Another two supposedly coming this year. I passed because I’m waiting on a 5212 in the next couple of months and he said he’d give me dibs when they get their first 4947. It was definitely a keep your eyes on the prize decision.

I checked it out today. On my 6.75in wrists the lugs were just too straight out and not contoured, creating space underneath the lugs just above the curvature of my wrist, which are pretty flat. Frankly, it sat like a board on my wrist. Kinda a bummer, I had to pass. For 7.5 in wrists and up it won’t be an issue.

Any wrist pictures with other watches (preferably Rolex) in your collection? Curious to see how other watches fit on your wrist.

Mine is 7.25” and hoping this piece fits beautifully

Sweet, thank you. Nice collection you have there.

All those look nice on you, I’m surprised even the Omega SMP fits well but the 6119 doesn’t. Hmm, will be interesting when I get the call to check out the watch.

I asked at two different ADs, both said it’s hard to come by (though I feel like ADs say that about almost all watches these days). One mentioned it’s an allocation piece that only comes in pre-sold. Neither had either watch on display.

In the UK - Just yesterday I get informed by WOS that its not an allocation piece however if I wanted one in white gold it would be 5 years and 2/3 for rose gold. Am I missing something? I know some on Chrono are advertised for several thousand over but am I actually missing something....

No way that’s right. I’ve seen them for sale twice now. I have had wildly bad experiences with WoS. It would instantly be available if you bought something else I bet.

I assume what they mean is they have orders from enough customers to fill their store allocation for 5 and 2/3 years respectively.

I have to buy something else to get a Calatrava in which will help me get a sports model. I have to buy a lot of other things - getting far to confusing

It’s like with AP. Westime told me I can’t get a diver now without buying an 1159.

Seems like it. Though the Calatrava line is the most “common” for Patek, and they’re push these in larger volumes than all the other families, I think a time only “entry level” Patek which is their lowest cost model is going to be in lower volumes. I heard they’ll produce about 1000 of these per year - makes sense to me given Patek does about 60k watches per year, and produces 164 different models across 8 families. Even if they produce 30% Calatrava, 18k watches. 15 models within Calatrava family, I wouldn’t think they would produce their entry level model evenly.

At 1000 per year, 377 ADs around the world… yep about 3 to 4 pieces per AD per year.

Dunno if it was both or just one model. But both ADs were saying they would only get 1 or 2 of the 6119R in a year, so that would mean both models.

Looking like the 6119 is pulling the price of 5119 up a bit too.
