Speaking of gorgeous Ashley, a while ago you were talking about getting back in to modeling, just wondering if you're going to pursue it?

You know, I was a model once, I appeared on the cover of "Popular Mechanics"

Actually, I have got a few offers to do some modelling, and I think I will look into my options!

Hi Ash,

Did you get a chance to find out more about my eye problem?

I went there this summer and just loved it.

It's on F street a few blocks north of the Mall and the Smithsonian Museums.

The museum site gives a pretty good sense of what it's like.

I live in Alexandria, VA (part of the lovely METRO/DC area) Definitely do all of the tourist stuff downtown...see the sites..take in the museums. Get lost riding the metrol around. Go to Arlington and soak it in. Shop in Georgetown. Drink in Georgetown (LOL). Go to OLDTOWN ALEXANDRIA, VA...good shopping, vibe, etc. This should get you started. Kind of cold right now though!

Thanks for the advice. And I hope it will be nice in May when I go!

When in May are you going to be here, Ashley? Maybe we could use your trip as an excuse for a DC GTG. We certainly have enough members here to get decent sized crowd together.

Welcome back !!

I must confess I'm an avid reader of your blog; I'm too shy to leave comments, but surely most of your threads make me think quite a bit. You've got nice writing skills and quite a brave mind to speak out.

DC is a wonderful place; it's been 7 yrs since I went there, but I'd recommend going to the Holocaust Museum as it is quite impressing. Lots of information. The Capitol Hill galleries are also really nice.

Thanks for the welcome back, and thanks for reading my blog! I hope one day you feel brave enough to respond, I always like reading comments! I am really, really enjoying writing it.

I definitely want to check out the Holocaust Museum, definitely a piece of history not to be missed out on. There are so many things to do, I wish I had two weeks there!

I'm tied up on the 24th and 26th. Let's see if we can put something together for a dinner on the 25th. I'll put the word out in the Meeting Point and see what we can do.
