Bulova devil diver?

Anyone pick one of these up? Ive been wanting a yellow or orange dialed diver, and thought this one looked neat. Not exactly the most solid feeling watch, and kind of pricey for what you get but somehow still thinking about getting one.

I looked at one the day I bought my Seiko SRP777. Almost pulled the trigger on the Devil Diver, but the bracelet killed it for me. The watch was $795, but the bracelet felt like it was from Walmart.

Yea the $1500 orange one feels pretty chintzy overall, crown action not very nice but still like the watch somehow

It's growing on me. The one I handled had the black dial. I'm a sucker for an orange dial, though. If I'm gonna shell out money for an orange dial, I might as well go Doxa and call it a day.

I vaguely remember a few years ago there were questions about where doxas were actually made, and the companys response was a bit cagey. Since then never really considered them.

I'd love to find an original. Now that you mention it, I do recall something about the new ones being a bit dodgy.
