With the greatest of respect:
I wonder how many times wearers of Tudor watches, when asked, "Is that a Rolex"? Have to go through the, "no it's not, but it's MADE by Rolex" routine. Apologies, but I don't get the Tudor thing at all. If it was a completely different, separate entity, then, maybe. They appear to be nice designs. But, having to 'explain' all the time. Hmmm. Maybe I'm completely wrong, and it just doesn't happen. I feel, perhaps wrongly, it's a bit like owning a fake Rolex and having to explain "what good value it is" and, how "Rolexes are over-hyped, over-priced and not as accurate as my 2 quid ($5) Casio" etc. etc. I expect we've all had to endure THAT nonsense. A mate of mine is always telling us how much 'better' his Sangyong 4x4 is than my girlfriends Range Rover. We just swallow it, smile and say nothing. The same bloke has a Kawasaki that's pretending to be a Harley. It's a lovely, lovely 'bike, but it's not, the real thing. I'm going to stand well back now, and await the retaliatory barrage! |

Where the newer Rolex models are bloated, blingy and whizzy, this just looks like the perfect laid back and tool-watch.

Reasonable comments and I can understand being worried about that. The reality is that nobody cares. Only those of us who know the products can comment intelligently on brand A vs brand B. I have a Tudor BB. Nobody has ever noticed it, let alone asked if it was a Rolex, which is just the way I like it. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This on leather at $3500 is a steal. I do not own a GMT. I will soon. Was texting with the AD this morning.

A great watch! And they even got the bezel colors right.
Rolex once again botched the new Pepsi GMT when they used the purple/pink from the BLRO |
