Fake GMT-Master II

https://www.chrono24.com/rolex/oyste...-id7825264.htm

Here's a fake GMT-Master II being sold on chrono24. Report it so people don't get it. I also have suspicions about other watch from their inventory, namely https://www.chrono24.com/rolex/datej...-id7814288.htm , can anyone confirm my suspicion?

The Datejust isn't fake. The dial and bezel are not factory original but the watch itself is not a fake. The GMT also is genuine.

Might be, as I said I am not so sure about the Datejust, but cyclops looked off to me. https://cdn2.chrono24.com/images/uhr...814288_xxl.jpg (you can zoom in on this direct link to pic) As of GMT, I totally disagree, look at this pic for example https://cdn2.chrono24.com/images/uhr...25264b_xxl.jpg (2nd slide), that's not how ceramic bezel is supposed to look like. Numbers are painted, they should be engraved.

I am certain about both watches. The pic angle is either bad on the GMT, or perhaps the bezel has been replaced by a non original or has been altered in some way. It is difficult for me to tell at this hour, but I am certain that the GMT is a real Rolex.

Is the GMT stack correct?

I can't quite make it out in the pic.

I am no expert but what makes you think its real, it looks pretty bad to me. Look at the rear pic, the top of the clasp isn't even straight.

Fake GMT-Master II

That’s a deal GMT. Don’t accuse people of selling “fakes” when you have no grounds to do so.

I do have grounds to do so, because it has a fake bezel (not engraved like it should be) and fake clasp on the bracelet (not straight), combining those two, as well as DJ I sent link to with non-factory dial, bezel and magnification issue as well as one DSSD I found in their inventory that has bezel issues as well, I can assume they sell fakes. And also to be sure I asked on rolex subreddit and we reached conclusion they were fake.

Bezel is definitively not original. Look at dot between 4 and 6. It is too close to 6, no matter what angle that wouldn't happen.

good point! The bezel markings are quite off and the flip lock clasp looks appalling....

There are fakes with the correct hand stack, curious what makes people think that this is a genuine GMTc ?

Have to agree on the GMT bezel being aftermarket. It also appears to be raised above the bezel ring. And the polished case sides appear to have been amateurishly brushed. In short I wouldn't buy it, and I'd be upset if I had. Can't say with certainty that it's a worthless Shanghai effort but seller should at least disclose exactly what the deal is.

Fake or genuine. Fakes must be getting better when members can't tell one from the other.

Yeah.. hear ya, not a good look. Though personally I give up with ceramics as they're that close. I can't ascertain anything from pictures. Makes you wonder how many members are successfully pulling the wool over 'INCOMING!!'

I've sent them a message and they confirmed it's an aftermarket bezel.

I still find it strange, easy to miss but still it's so obvious as well.
