Loving my new Breitling Superocean Steelfish.

I have been on the search for a Breitling Steelfish for a couple of weeks, my regular AD was out on the dial I wanted but another store had it on a strap, my Ad asked me to hold out on the other guy and give him a couple of days, as usual he comes through. found me a Steelfish on bracelet for less than what the other guy was charging for it on leather

I wanted an everyday brushed watch that was on the simpler side IE no chrono and with a white or black dial. My choices were between the Omega Seamaster and the Breitling Steelfish for around 1900USD (my limit). Decided to go with the Breitling simply because I like the design better and I did have and sell a Seamaster before.

Now that it is on my wrist I dont know why I even considered the Omega. The Breitling blows it away completely!!! Here is what i really love about it:

1- Best damn sapphire crystal I have ever seen. All Breitlings have amazingly good crystals, feels like I can reach in and play with the hands.

2- The case is beautifully formed and feels like it can take a beating and still look good. reminds me of Rolex in that regard.

3- Best bracelet in this price range. a bit lighter and not as solidly built as the Speed or Pro bracelets, but still excellent.

4- The off white cream dial turns silver in certain lighting and is absolutely dazzling.

5-Attention to detail displayed here in the applied logo, indices,0 bezel etc simply cant be had at this price range. Just fantastic.

6- One of the best lume performance I have seen.

7- Extremely comfy to wear, the lug to lug case design forms nicely on wrist.

8- It's design is unique and interesting to me with that busy-yet-not-cluttered dial. Gorgeous!!!

I have gotten as many compliments on it, and enjoy it as much, as my other higher end Breitlings, Rolxs, and Panerai. So glad I got it!!!!

Sorry about the pic quality on some of these, but I was in a hurry at the time of the unboxing:

Now here is a little surprise, I mentioned to my Ad that my Panerai Ad had been kind enough to through in a genuine Panerai stand and he told me he had an extra one that I could have.

check out that raised logo

$1,900?

Well done, a very nice watch at a good price. You're right about the clarity of the dial through the crystal - fantastic pictures too! Higher depth rating than the SD at 1/3 the cost! I've never been a Breitling fan, but wouldn't hesitate to endorse this model if someone asked me about it!

Thanks for the "show and tell/bring and brag!"

Ahmed:

That is a fabulous looking watch. I love everything about it. The box it came in is exquisite, the face is stunning, the red tipped seconds had really stands out, the dial is beautifully layed out with the hands, the lume and the silver numbers, the case of the watch and bracelet go together exceptionally, and it is an awesome looking watch. I agree with David I would own this watch in a heartbeat. It's an incredibly low price for what you get for the money. I am very impressed. That is one of the best looking Breitlings I've seen as well as a couple of others that have been posted here in the past couple of weeks.

Enjoy it in good health. I bet that will get many, many compliments.

Congrats on the Steelfish. Its a fabulous watch with good heft to it. I had a blue one before and the white dial is as stunning esp with the concentric circles on the dial.

Fantastic looking watch; the detail is quite striking. It amazes me how much detail they can fit into a luxury watch. I think thats what keeps alot of us coming back, (or maybe I speak for myself?)
