Video Review: Explorer II 16570 (Transitional)

I just viewed your review and am a big fan of the 16570 because an A s/n version was my first-ever Rolex.

Each video blogger I watch has a different style and talking points for their review format. Yours is very capable and adequately covers the general points of the watch.

As you asked what we thought, may I offer some ideas that make video reviews more useful? Not a criticism at all - just sharing in the spirit of communication.

I like the history behind each model, so perhaps add a minute covering the origins of the model being reviewed. You did a fine job explaining that particular transitional model - but perhaps add some historical perspective up front.

When a watch has complications, explain how they are used. Maybe demonstrate how one sets the complication and any unique “off-label” uses.

Hope that is useful - keep up your good work.

This is exactly the feedback I enjoy receiving. I very much appreciate it. I actually have written a more comprehensive article on the watch that covers a lot of the items you mentioned. It may in fact be published soon on a professional blog. If so I will provide a link to you. If not, I will post it in the review sections. Cheers.
