There are currently two BB eta noirs for sale on a major auction site.

Just picked up a new one at my AD last week. Can't believe they had one (black eta on bracelet).

BIN is going at the same price as the auction one which has a day left. Both over $3200, both on leather. Before they were discontinued it would have been 1K less.

I think I can get my hands on a gently used one for $2450 on a strap, not bracelet. Shoul I pull the trigger?

I definitely would. It's a great watch, fantastic movement...and you can probably source the bracelet pretty easy. Seems like they'll be collectible in the future.

These things are hitting $4k on straps. Bracelets are easy and relatively cheap to source but wow these things are jumping quick. $5k by summer is my prediction.

If you can find any it seems like they're gone right away. Wouldn't doubt your prediction!

I saw one sell same day it was listed at over $3700. Crazy!

And the black is my least favorite of the ETA Black Bays.

I preferred the blue until I had the black in hand. There is a charm to it that is not so present in photography. You have to wear it for a bit to be lured deeply in. It’s now my favorite.

I'd really be temped if they weren't so damn thick! Or slab-sided, I guess.

Tried on the Black (in-house) just today and it does have a charm to it.

In house is thicker and doesn’t curve to the wrist as nicely as the ETA.

Prices of these have gone up. Looks like Timeless Luxury Watches in Texas sold a minty one in a few hours. Asking price was $3750.

The time to buy is when you see one available. They just don’t exist.

I took a look at both when I bought my blue. But it was the blue that won the day. For some reason, the gilt dial without the red bezel just doesn’t work for me.

Don’t do it! Seriously I think these hit $5k by summer. Keep it the Black Rose is extremely rare and they are not making more.
