urgent. rolex 18038 daydate wheel/disc color conformation

Dear all,

I. Am about to buy a rolex daydate 18038 from bernard watch. I just realiased that the day date wheel colour on the Champaign dial watch is white instead of yellow. What can be the reason behind this. I need urgent help. Thanks.

Rolex make it in white also so may not be fake just changed at service.

I thought service date wheels were pretty much always white. I also thought the date wheel color had nothing to do with the dial, but rather when the watch was made.

I don't know much about DDs though so maybe someone can correct me or elaborate.

I just bought a "newer" DD and the day wheel seems to match the dial.

Yup. I have a 118238 with matching wheel aswell. Was curious about the 18038 I mentioned above.
