Correct box for 1978 1680

Hi all, hope this finds everyone well and wish everyone a happy new year.
I just bought this 1978 1680 which i am very excited about. It came with the original tags, guarantee and 11 links on 93150. To complete the set, i am trying to find the correct outer & inner box, booklets & anchor and i know it could be a long journey for that. To start, I wanted to get the box first and I have been doing some research. There seems to be quite a variety of them (and confusing for me). So just wondering if you guys would have a idea which box is correct for the 1978 1680. THANKS so much.

I am no expert but if this was retailed in the UK it would have probably come with a "Sea Horse" style box and a slash-card style insert in the box. US watches came with a different style box so best approach is to search on the sites of reputable dealers and e-bay for watches of the same era.......that should give you a good idea of the packaging that was provided at the time.

As an aside that looks like a very nice example of a 1680!!

Indeed but late 70's used Moon Crater boxes as well in the UK like mine but with a GMT.

X2. Sea Horse box was earlier, prior to the clam shell box. Outside the USA I would use the clam shell box. 1st generation Bufkor box in the USA,
