So if they were producing too many I think they’ve re-thought that strategy

Yes I understand. It’s nice to have limited editions. But that is also on top of all of their other mass produced models.
Like I said I’m a Panerai enthusiast and love the watches. I just wished they didn’t put out so many limited editions each year. To me and IMO only, I think it takes away from their mystic.

Not really my thing, aesthetically. Big, chunky, thick, and all dial. The white dial 1950 looks pretty cool, but it's expensive for what you're getting, I think. On second thought, they're all expensive for what you get, IMO.

Panerai has had some up and downs. I own a few along with a number of Rolex’s and enjoy them. I love the design and have had great luck with their durability. Nice alternative to Rolex. If you buy properly you can get alot of watch for the money.

I think that is a 320. Great piece. Like the 1950 case, the case on myg 233 is very similar.

I have had two Panerai’s, both 44mm submersibles, and have to say for that size they are extremely comfortable. Also the timekeeping spot on and they seem well made. My latest pickup is the 025 titanium and it’s by far the most comfortable watch I own. It’s getting more time than my sd43.

Thank you. It's actually the 1320 the next generation. I love this piece. I used to always look at Panerai, there's something about them that lured me in.

You nailed it. It's in vogue now to crap on Panerai. Those people should just enjoy their Sub along with the 3 billion other people who have the same watch.....LOL.

Bought Panerai 10 years ago when big sized watches was trending but fell out of love as the years go by. Now its not my thing anymore.

I ve heard that big watches were a fad for 15 years. I guess the 44mm roo Audemars Piguet the 43mm subs which are impossible to find at the ADs and the sold out 47mm bronzos are outdated?

I have all these brands. Love my PAM. But they really need to rethink their marketing strategy. Need more advertising and endorsements to stay relevant. No one knows about them anymore and that’s scary for a brand..

I have gone through several PAMs and sold majority of them. The only one left is my PAM 382 Bronzo. Its my go to watch when I travel as only collectors know what they are. From afar they look like like any other ordinary watches. It is absolutely utilitarian and I wear it from swimming, hiking etc. Bang it around and it just holds up, don't have to worry about babysitting it.

I doubted a lot before I got my first PAM.
Always wanted a white face and I was not very sure.
So last year I found the PAM 1523 tried it on and went for it.....
I don’t regret it a bit, changing straps is a lot of fun at least for me.
Love how much it changes character/looks with different straps.

I guess everybody has different tastes.....
My case I don’t like gold or TT specially yellow gold.

This is very true and worrisome. They are mid-tier, but like you said no one knows about the brand outside of the enthusiasts. Bad news is that the enthusiasts are abandoning the brand. Soon, the brand will have no customer left.

Are they now trying to move up market with their $$$ offerings?

I own 6 Rolex's and recently stepped out of my comfort zone and acquired my first Panerai 532 and love it! Rolex fan boys sh!t on anything that isn't Rolex. IMO to many of the same brand starts to get boring really fast regardless if you have SS or PM (I have a few of both). I hope to add an AP to my stable in the near future.

Dust settles and they are a niche brand these days. Ugly you may call it but distinctive and clean lines- you've got to give them some credit. I love my PAM190.

maybe this is ugly? and far better weapon
