The Heritage Submariner Big Crown, 60th Anniversary Edition
"Sixty years after its original introduction, the Rolex Submariner has been given a well-deserved heritage inspired reboot courtesy of some aesthetic improvements & a ‘you saw it here first’ fusion with ‘new old stock’ vintage parts. Respected Rolex watch experts Daniel Bourn and Philipp Stahl have collaborated to create the ultimate ’modern meets vintage’ homage to the legendary ‘Big Crown’ Submariner. The customised steel Heritage Submariner will be issued in a Limited Edition of 60 numbered examples, the Heritage Submariner (or HS01) has everything required to become the ‘must have’ watch for any true collector.

Well, as a Heritage, I like it! Nice chamfers too! I believe this is the same group who made the Piccard DSSD.

While they are beveling the edges if they could take the lugs down a bit more they'd have a customer!

Very cool, but why fake the patina on a new watch?!
Normal lume would have made it perfect!

Glad it doesn't have a date. The sub doesn't need one! I'll keep my 114060.

Copy your last!
The lack of lume pearl is weird, the fake patina combined with the white gold surounds looks awful and the chamfers are so over-egged they make it's lugs look like an omega aqua terra! The bezel looks clumsy and don't even get me started on the winding crown... You might have guessed I don't really like it!

I am a Sub lover. In fact, this is the model that made me a Rolex fan.
But there is a "something" in this version that does not let me like it as much as I should. I will stick with my 5513 instead.

I like everything about it except the faded lume - that ruins it for me. Why do that?
Am I reading that right? >$24k!
