Multiple times a charm??

I've been back and forth with the LVC more times than I will admit.

That said, my littke story: about to take a big financial hit.

Oddly, I'm really ok with it. No guys, no glory, and things tend to work out quite well. It's not life changing, but it's big enough that I'll feel it.

So I'll take this hit a rebuild. I'm shocked at how comfortable I am with it.

But anyway, it got me thinking. Live, one time. And one never knows what will happen in the future.

I was picking up a just serviced watch that I facilitated (and paid for) for a partner, and tried on the LVC again.

It was love at 90th sight. The AD price was out of control. Confirmed a super price with DavidSW and it'll arrive in Tuesday.

What can I say: it's one of the very few diversions/passions in my life.

Looking forward to Tuesday.

Live once. Enjoy the moment. Look at diversity and put your head down and barrel the F(&$k through it.

Glad to have the LVC back in the fold once again. Again.

I went throug the same thing with a purchase a few years ago. I always have bad buyers remorse. Sometimes it gets the better of me and I flip the watch. Happened when I had the DRSD. It felt more like an albatross than a great addition to the collection. I think it's important to strike a balance. I've been able to do that since then and I've had the opportunity to own some fantastic watches.

I recently culled the collection down to 3, selling off a GMT Master and a Panerai. The next watch hasn't revealed itself yet. I've decided that it will either be a 16700 or 16550. Two often overlooked 80s pieces.

Congrats on getting the LVc again. I flipped mine for an LNc and so far happier with the black sub since it's my only watch. If I were to have multiple I could see another LVc in my future!

I'm glad your journey brings you back to LVc. This is the piece that was never in my sight and has escaped my attention throughout my Rolex journey. It's far from love at first sight. Now that I finally have it I have found pure love and it has quietly supplanted my BLNR as the go to SS Rolex piece.

The thrill of the hunt and the kill are often just as pleasurable as the wearing.

Nice watch selection. I try to not over think it and buy what I want as my budget allows. Enjoy.

Only through here once so you gotta go for it! Have hit a difficult decision a few times before myself with a Rolex - should I go for it or not? Most times it went right - on a few it did not. All part of the fun!

Ha. Neither am I. Thank god, it would kill me.

But I just got word that I was awarded a large project I've been bidding on.

Nothing but peaks and valleys.

Lucky watch? Lol. I sure hope so.
