sketchy about cleaning pearl on bezel
Ever since I read a thread a couple of weeks ago about someone's submariner bezel pearl falling off, I've been very skeptical about using my watch cloth and cleaning my watch, well that area in particular.
Everytime I rinse my watch in light soap and water, I dry the watch off and clean everywhere around the watch but avoid rubbing the pearl or making any contact with it whatsoever, fearing it will come off and I would have to replace the whole ceramic bezel! I know it would cost me a fortune. Does the pearl of the bezel fall off easily? Any experiences? |

The pearl is about as likely to fall off by wiping with a cloth as Bigfoot is to knock on your back door and ask to borrow a cup of sugar.

Yeah I wouldn't overthink this one. I could potentially get hit by a meteor if I get off my porch but I'm still going to go outside.
And that's pretty slim Grady, he prefers Jack Links jerky.

I'd be more worried about getting hit by a bus.
While on a train. |
