It’s just too much wrist awareness for my happiness with the 5164

Can’t go wrong ,
With 5164 if you buy from AD you are golden , now 5524 will sink like the titanic but it’s such a great watch

Enjoy the hunt

Yup he’s right. Had them both multiple times. The 5524 wins........ unless you want the 5520p

I prefer the 5164 it’s Pateks best execution in the sports category imho to date. Everything is where it should be and there’s no poor aesthetic decisions.

If I were buying today from the secondary I would honestly buy the 5524G. It’s a great buy at market and you’ll feel good about paying under vs over.

I absolutely love the ability to change our straps on my 5524. Makes it such a versatile watch!

Both are fantastic, I really like the 5524, unfortunately it is a bit too big for my wrist, otherwise I would have bought it.

If you like it and it suits you in terms of size, I think it's a given purchase.

i do have a good relation with my AD and was trying to test the water on purchasing the 5524 and he dischurged me from doing so. he said he had 5 in the safe in the back and that i could find it anytime.
i'm guessing that is not the case with the 5164 :(

You have a fantastic AD, mine recently asked me to purchase a 5930G or 5205R to help him out!
