I have a Titanium Schumi. Cermet looks great and is strong. Excellent material. Unlike their crappy soft carbon on the GP bezel.

I think RM is late for the party regarding ‘Cermet’

Dr.. Please elaborate.. You mean in general or some particular models? (Sorry i am not in touch with the market).. thank you.

I am curious because just last week a fellow collector wants to pay crazy price for my 005RG. Which I bought long time ago. I didn’t know the market price but the amount he suggested compared to what I bought is ridiculous to be honest. I am very surprised is an understatement.

I mean in general......the bid prices from greys have dropped significantly, but the asks have remained the same. Which means to me that they are trying to cost average inventory based on slower sales.

Once we get through the holidays, I think this takes a pretty solid hit. Everyone is holding on for the last guy to pay the absurd market price, but once that passes, these inventories are gonna have to go.......if that makes any sense.

The more I look at that Pharrell piece the more I like it! Making the movement baseplate with those aventurine inserts gives it a really cool 3D look with the astronaut in the foreground and space in the background.

I liked it from the get go, but I know i'm in the minority there.

I saw that 11-04. Doesn’t seem like this is the base model replacing the 11-03. Looks great tho

It would be foolish to release an 11-04 with a new design so soon

And from the RM website “ ultra-sporty case in Carbon TPT® with raised crenulations” lol

I struggle with wanting the 11-04.

It features complications that I don't ever have use for... whereas the 11-03 is wholly useful to me.

Learned something today... most metals are corrosive and become electrically conductive when paired with carbon fiber...

Sitting in a meeting and was explained this...but the first thing I thought about is an RM lol

Browsing the RM website, it suddenly hit me that RM11 while being first introduced back in 2007, it is now is already -04 and the 33 now is already into -03.. RM07 introduced since 2005 and RM16 introduces since 2007 both had basically stayed unchanged and still going strong.. obviously this two model is doing well for not being retired.

A great in-depth review of the 16 if you are interested.
